(hereinafter referred to as "the project") was successfully approved by the National Key Research and Development Program "Food Nutrition and Safety Key Technology Research and Development" key special support.
As additive manufacturing technology continues to evolve, the global demand for food additive manufacturing is also on the rise. Statistics show that the global food additive manufacturing market generated revenue of $226.2 million in 2021 and is expected to reach $1,941 million by 2027.
Food additive manufacturing technology has a unique "customization" attribute, not only can achieve the appearance of personalized design molding, but also for special populations to print special purpose and accurate nutritional food, is the main solution to the future of personalized food intelligent manufacturing. However, the current stage of food additive manufacturing technology exists in the processing equipment intelligence, high efficiency, lack of precision and standardization, continuity, automation level is not enough and other issues, seriously restricting the healthy development of the industry.
In order to break the bottleneck of the above problems, Longyuan will join hands with the Institute of Agricultural Products Processing of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, give full play to their respective advantages in scientific research, technology, talents and market, and carry out the research on the adaptability of technology and equipment and the integration of equipment based on the independently researched and developed binder jet printing equipment and FDM equipment of Longyuan, develop easy-to-swallow food products made from food hydrogel and special shaped food products made from food-based particles, and evaluate the safety and reliability of such products. Food hydrogel as raw material and food-based particles as raw material for special shaped food, and its safety, reliability and other comprehensive evaluation, and ultimately achieve personalized food additive manufacturing and intelligent processing equipment industrialization demonstration and application, to meet the market's growing demand for diversified, personalized, accurate diet.
The research results of this project will provide technical basis and substrate, equipment, production line support for personalized food additive manufacturing, enrich and develop the basic theory of food additive manufacturing, which has important scientific value; enhance the level of China's food additive manufacturing industry and the scale of the industry, increase employment opportunities, and promote the long-term development of the industry, which has significant social benefits; innovate the existing traditional food additive manufacturing printing raw material preparation process It is also important to innovate the existing traditional food additive manufacturing printing raw material preparation process, and its products are directly used in the market, which significantly improves the economic benefits; enhance the level of industrial standardization and scaling, promote the efficient production of enterprises, reduce the waste of resources and energy, and realize the ecological benefits.
